Bosch, Daimler develop self-parking car system at museum

German companies Bosch and Daimler have started an automated driving pilot project at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart. Using a smartphone app, visitors can book a car at the museum, and the vehicle comes automatically to the pick-up area. The return occurs the same way, with the car driving itself back to a parking space after drop-off. Bosch provides the intelligent system for the parking garage and Daimler the vehicle technology.
