Bourgogne-Franche-Comte region brings fixed LTE connectivity to rural areas

Tuesday 30 January 2018 | 09:35 CET | News
Bourgogne-Franche-Comte has become one of the first regions in France to inaugurate broadband commercial services delivering 30 Mbps speeds over fixed LTE. Named 'RCube THD', the new network is available in under-served areas across the Cote-d'Or, Saone-et-Loire and Yonne departments. Four others (Jura, Doubs, Haute-Saone and Nievre) could follow suit and bring faster connectivity to locations where fibre roll-outs are not planned in the short term.
