Bouygues and SFR ramp up pace of LTE cell site activations in Sept

After slowing down in August, SFR and Bouygues Telecom have both stepped up LTE cell site activations during September, according to the latest figures from French spectrum agency ANFR. SFR added 527 sites during the month, to reach a total of 13,277, while Bouygues maintained a narrow lead in overall sites (13,797) with 525 additions. Orange and Free progressed at a slightly lower pace compared to August, with 195 new sites added by Orange and 160 by Free Mobile (12,935 and 8,920 in total, respectively).
