Bouygues, Iliad call for Orange to face fibre regulation

Bouygues Telecom and Free's parent company Iliad have addressed a letter to French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe and Arcep's President Sebastien Soriano, calling for new regulatory measures to bring a level playing field in the fibre market, reports Les Echos. The two operators blame Orange for taking advantage of its past monopoly in the country's civil engineering infrastructure, which in their view has given the incumbent an unfair advantage in roll-out of FTTH services in densely populated areas.
