Bouygues Telecom CEO elected FFT president

Mobile and broadband operator Bouygues Telecom's CEO, Didier Casas, has been appointed president of the French Telecom Federation (FFT), reports La Tribune. Casas succeeds Orange deputy CEO Pierre Louette, who has held the role since March 2012. Cable and mobile operator Numericable-SFR's deputy CEO, Jerome Yomtov, was elected FFT vice president. The association's continued existence was under threat in recent months, after Numericable-SFR threatened to pull out, citing the absence of major player Free.
