Bouygues Telecom Q1 revenue falls 2% to EUR 1.1 bln

French mobile and broadband operator Bouygues Telecom reported revenue down 2 percent to EUR 1.1 billion in the first quarter, with network service revenue down 4 percent to EUR 932 million. EBITDA was stable at EUR 118 million as lower prices were offset by cost savings. The operator narrowed its current operating cost by EUR 2 million to EUR 62 million, but made a EUR 49 million net loss in the first quarter, compared with a EUR 41 million loss a year earlier. Bouygues added 197,000 postpaid customers in the first quarter, or 146,000 excluding M2M Sim cards. It had 3.5 million 4G customers
