BP closes European data centres, moves data and key applications to AWS

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced that it is now hosting  the data and 900 key applications of the oil and gas company British Petroleum (BP). BP has decided to close its two European data centres and migrate the data and applications to AWS. This is part of a wide program to accelerate the digitisation of its infrastructure and operations.
