BQ launches first Spanish Android One phone

Spanish smartphone manufacturer BQ has unveiled the first phone to be launched in Spain under Google's ultra-low-cost Android One initiative. The initial aim of Android One was to ensure that all users in emerging countries were on the latest versions of Android, with the company also providing a set of standards to guarantee the quality of devices sold under the programme. The BQ Aquaris A4.5 4G is the first Android One device to be sold in a non-emerging country and comes with a 1 GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, 16 GB of storage, 1 GB RAM, a 4.5-inch qHD display, an 8-megapixel rear
