Brazil adopts new Antenna Law, introduces tax breaks for investors

Brazil's Communications Minister, Fabio Faria, has signed the so-called Antenna Law that will facilitate the process of installating mobile network antennas in the country. Faria underlined the importance of the new decree in light of the 5G frequency auction in 2021, saying that 10 times more antennas will be required. He also signed the ordinance that will encourage investment in telecommunications networks through a discount in income tax.
