Brazil approves tax breaks for 11 more broadband projects

Brazil's Ministry of Communications has approved an additional BRL 96.3 million in new projects for broadband network development, entitled to tax exemptions through the Special Regime of the National Broadband Plan (REPNBL), reports Convergencia Digital. The approval of 11 new projects was published – all belonging to the America Movil group, nine of them from Net Servicos totaling BRL 72.8 million and two of Embratel, totaling BRL 23.5 million.
