Brazil gets new VoD platform

The WatchTV VoD platform has officially launched in Brazil after a beta period, reports Tela Viva. It combines the SVoD (Subscribed Video on Demand) and TVOD (Transactional Video on Demand) models and offers video catalogues from Hollywood studios together with OTT services from TV broadcasters. WatchTV provides content for ISPs and is also a marketplace that aggregates content from other applications, starting with Noggin and ESPN Watch.
