Brazil govt concerned at Oi's fragile situation - report

The fragile financial situation of Oi, the difficulties in merging with Portugal Telecom and the recent loss of its CEO Zeinal Bava are raising concerns within the Brazilian government about the instability of the company, sources told Reuters. The federal government has already begun thinking of a possible reduction in the number of major telecommunications operators in the Brazilian market from four to three.
