Brazil has potential for 20.4 million notebook sales

Notebook and desktop computer sales in Brazil grew more than 40 percent during the pandemic, but there is still pent-up consumption potential of 21.5 million devices, of which 20.4 million are notebooks, according to market research by GfK and 4E, reports Valor Economico. Retail prices for notebooks and tablets have risen by 11 percent in the period April-June, while desktop prices fell 7 percent in the period. In the first half, desktop sales grew even more than notebooks, up 43.7 percent on the first six months of 2019.
