Brazil may face BRL 1.23 billion cost to end TV interference with 5G

A study commissioned by Conexis Brasil Digital (formerly SindiTelebrasil) from LCA Consultores estimates that mitigating interference by satellite TV channels in the C-band with 5G would cost BRL 1.23 billion, taking into account a base of 7.41 million households, reports Valor Economico. Interference would be reduced using filters, maintaining the analogue TV signal.
