Brazil online marketplaces to curb sales of unapproved telecom products

Brazil's National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) announced it's working with online marketplaces to prevent the sale of irregular telecom products or those not approved by the Agency. The measure seeks to protect the radioelectric spectrum and telecom services, and to ensure that low-quality products which pose risks to consumer health and safety and are sometimes associated with illegal activities such as smuggling and embezzlement are not sold on the websites of these companies.
