Brazil pay-TV subscriber base drops to 15.5 million

The Brazilian pay-TV subscriber base dropped again in January, by 1.42 percent to 15.5 million users, according to figures from the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel). DTH accounted for 7.89 million of the total (-1.95%), followed by cable with 6.74 million (-1.22%) and FTTH with 920,500 (+1.87%).
