Brazil sees 35% growth in complaints for fixed internet services during lockdown

Despite a positive evaluation of the performance of fixed networks during the covid-19 pandemic, Brazil's National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) observed a 35 percent growth of fixed internet complaints during the period, reports Teletime. According to consumer relations superintendent Elisa Leonel, the effect was "expected", as certain stretches of the network recorded a 50-70 percent increase in traffic, as more people started working from home during lockdown.
