Brazil target of 50% of phishing scams in Latin America

Brazil is now the main target for cybercriminals in Latin America, being the object of 50.2 percent of cyber attacks on companies in the region in May. So says research by RSA, the security division of US technology giant EMC, which measured phishing attacks that occurred in the region. Colombia is the second most heavily attacked country, with 24.3 percent of fraudulent actions, followed by Chile (21%) and Mexico (1.5%).
