Brazil targets sale of non-approved telecom products on marketplaces

Brazil's National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) sent letters to representatives of more than 10 digital platforms regarding the advertising and sale of telecom products not approved by the regulator. In these letters, Anatel warned the marketplaces about the need to immediately and proactively adopt preventive or repressive measures to minimize the risk of making unapproved telecom products available on their platforms. Measures were suggested such as the prohibition of sales of certain products; careful selection of suppliers; the use of technology to block potentially infringing
