Brazil to reach 304 mln mobile lines by 2018 - study

The number of active mobile lines in Brazil is set to increase to 304 million by 2018, accounting for 80.3 percent of all telecommunications accesses in the country, according to a report from Dataxis. Brazil had over 283.2 million active mobile lines in 2014, with Vivo (Telefonica) leading the market in terms of access volume, and TIM Brasil (Telecom Italia) posting the highest revenues, with close to 33 percent of the total.
