Brazilian antitrust approves new network sharing deal

Brazil's Administrative Council for Economic Defence (Cade) has approved without restrictions the terms of commitment entered into by the operators TIM, Vivo, Claro and Oi to evaluate a joint procurement process to build network infrastructure for enclosed spaces in different parts of the country, reports Reuters. The agreement covers construction work, installation and subsequent non-exclusive assignment of infrastructure for mobile coverage in enclosed spaces such as shopping malls, stadiums and airports.
