Brazilian fixed lines drop to 42.44 million in August

Brazil ended the month of August with 42.44 million fixed telephony lines, down by 154,516 compared with July, according to data from the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel). The penetration rate for the service amounted to 20.59 percent.
