Brazilian ministries to cooperate on IoT agriculture rollout

Brazil's Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovation and Communications and the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply signed a technical cooperation agreement with the aim of positioning Brazil as an exporter of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions for agriculture. The agreement also establishes the creation of the Agro 4.0 Chamber, as part of the National Plan for the Internet of Things, to build a strategy for connected farms which use automation, interactivity, real-time monitoring and big data techniques.
