Brazilian operators pushing for delay of 5G auction to 2021

Tuesday 5 November 2019 | 16:04 CET | News
Brazil runs the risk of delaying the launch of its 5G auction, initially scheduled for March 2020, until 2021, at least if Oi, TIM and Vivo are consulted, reports Corredio Braziliense. During the Futurecom 2019 exhibition, the companies all expressed the hope that the 5G auction will be postponed. No date has yet been determined by the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel).
