Brazilian OTT operators provide commitments to regulator

Brazil's National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) and OTT service providers have signed a letter of commitment with the goal of maintaining the good functioning of digital services. The operators are acting to ensure the continuity of internet connectivity services during the pandemic, with some adopting preventive voluntary technical measures in order to minimize the impact of increased consumption, Anatel said. For its part, Anatel will actively monitor the sector to ensure system integrity and network security.
