Brazilian port of Santos to benefit from 5G pilot project

The Santos Port Complex will benefit from a pilot project for the installation and operation of 5G standalone (also known as "Pure 5G"), according to the Brazil's Ministry of Communications. Minister Fabio Faria said that 5G technology will expand connectivity in the Brazilian port sector, thus helping to optimise operations, increase productivity and contribute to the growth of the country's economy. The date for installing the 5G transmission antenna has not yet been set.
