Brazilian providers earn BRL 2 billion from hosting services

Brazil's public cloud infrastructure and shared hosting providers are closing the first half of 2019 with a 25 percent growth rate compared with the same period in 2018. The projected annual revenues for 2019 are in the region of BRL 2 billion, compared with BRL 1.6 billion last year. The statistics are from the annual survey conducted by AbraHosting (Brazilian Association of Internet Hosting Infrastructure Companies) among its member base, which accounts for about 60 percent of internet traffic in Brazil.
