Brazilian regulator approves new universal service targets for 2021-25

Brazil's National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) has approved new General Plan of Universalisation Goals (PMGU V) for the period 2021-2025. The changes will enable internet access using fibre-optics in 1,511 Brazilian municipalities that still do not have the technology.
