Brazilian regulator sets up working group to monitor Oi

Brazil's National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) has published a decision in the Official Gazette to set up a Working Group that will be tasked with monitoring the economic and financial situation at operator Oi, which is in a judicial recovery process. Among the requirements is the obligation of notify Anatel in a timely fashion about board of director meetings. The operator must also notify Anatel regarding participation in meetings of the various management advisory committees, when issues related to actions outlined in the judicial reorganization plan are set to be discussed.
