Brazil's Espirito Santo launches tender for fibre network expansion

The Brazilian State of Espirito Santo published a bidding notice for the expansion of the fibre-optic network of the Metropolitan Region of Greater Vitoria. The contract is to cover the municipalities of Guarapari, Viana and new locations in Serra and Vila Velha. More than 340 km of fibre optics will be deployed, interconnecting about 100 units of state public agencies. The new resources will also be used for the maintenance of the already deployed fibre optic network, which includes about 450 state agencies, in Vitoria, Cariacica, Vila Velha and Serra. The tender will be start on 23 August
