Brazil's Um Telecom plans expansion in IoT market

Brazilian regional operator Um Telecom is planning to launch a MVNO and enter the IoT segment. It's also mulling participation in the 5G auction, CEO Rui Gomes told MobileTime.com.br. He said that the company is undergoing a transformation, from being a connectivity provider for ISPs to a provider of digital solutions. The plan is to offer the mobile service to its ISPs as well as M2M solutions.
