Brazil's Unifique acquires Zappen for BRL 40 million

Brazilian regional ISP Unifique has acquired fibre-optic internet provider Zappen, which operates in Joinville, state of Santa Catarina, from partners Cristiano Holdefer, Vilmar da Silva and Alexandre da Cunha. The acquisition foresees the transfer of infrastructure and 16,000 clients for BRL 40 million, of which 50 percent will be paid at once and the remainder in 24 installments.
