Breko members file vectoring legal challenge

Members of German alternative network operators group Breko have filed a legal challenge with the Administrative Court in Cologne against the vectoring decision of the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA). Breko believes that Deutsche Telekom is adopting a dual monopoly strategy. One at the network level by crowding out rivals from physical infrastructure; and also at the service level by blocking competitive wholesale products. Breko president Norbert Westfal insists that the decision of the BNetzA endangers the roll-out of fibre networks in Germany.
