BRICS cable will land in Mauritius if it gets green light

The BRICS cable linking Miami to Vladivostok, via Brazil, South Africa, India, China and Russia, will land in Mauritius, L'Express reports. Reuters recently reported that Google and other potential investors will decide by the end of the year whether to proceed with the estimated USD 1.5 billion investment necessary for the 34,000 km cable. Mauritius is already connected to the Lion and Lion2 undersea cables.
