Brite, Ceva, SMIC jointly develop IoT ASIC platform

China-based Brite Semiconductor is developing a design platform roadmap in partnership with Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC), and Ceva, a licensor of DSP and IP platforms for cellular, multimedia and connectivity. The platform is designed to support IoT ICs addressing the Chinese market's needs for smart devices, wirelessly-connected to cloud infrastructure.
