Brits concerned about mobile banking, messaging privacy

A survey of attitudes to mobile data privacy in the UK found that smartphone owners are most concerned about companies having access to banking activities and content of texts and emails. The report from the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) UK, supported by Weve, surveyed over 2,000 smartphone owners and 16+ and found that they were least concerned about data collected around apps and mobile web surfing. Almost half (46%) of smartphone owners feel concerned about their privacy when using the internet on their mobile phone. However, the survey showed that privacy concerns around advertising
