Brits feel left out of TV show discussions - TalkTalk

Wednesday 29 June 2016 | 11:00 CET | News
New research by TalkTalk TV Store shows that almost half of Brits (42%) have felt in the dark in situations where a show they haven't watched is being discussed. This new social condition has been dubbed 'Shomo'. An additional one third (31%) of Brits admit to pretending to be fans of shows in a bid to appear in the know amongst friends and family. The show that causes Brits to suffer the biggest case of 'Shomo' is Game of Thrones, which is now available to watch on the TalkTalk TV Store.
