Brits to make 14 contactless transactions a month by 2025

The average UK adult make 20 card payments per month in 2015, of which around 1 in 10 were contactless, according to a new report from Payments UK. By 2025, they are expected to use a debit, credit or charge card on average 30 times a month, of which 14 transactions a month will be contactless. Further, many of these payments may be made using a mobile phone. The study also shows that over two thirds of adults regularly used online banking in 2015, and one third use mobile banking.
