Broadband Commission urges use of ICT to drive SDGs

The Broadband Commission for Sustainable Development, an ITU and UNESCO venture set up in 2010 to boost the importance of broadband on the international policy agenda, has issued a statement urging policymakers, the private sector and other partners to make deployment of broadband infrastructure a top priority in strategies to accelerate global development and progress towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
