Broadband Forum issues new standards for fixed network integration with 5G

The Broadband Forum announced two new standards for operators looking to leverage their fixed networks for developing 5G services. Based on contributions from operators and vendors across the globe and close collaboration with the 3GPP, the new standards are '5G Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) Architecture' (TR-470) and 'Access Gateway Function (AGF) Functional Requirements' (TR-456).
