Broadband Forum, prpl Foundation unite to create cross-platform service delivery framework

Broadband Forum and prpl Foundation are cooperting to create an interoperable system of third-party applications and services and to allow Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) to be upgraded with innovative services. The two industry organisations will enhance existing home gateway architecture to enable service providers to more easily deploy, activate and manage portable third-party applications and services, such as Wi-Fi analytics, security and other things on Wi-Fi routers and home gateways.
