Broadband Infraco seeks government bailout

South African state-owned fibre-optic infrastructure company Broadband Infraco has appealed to government for a bailout, Fin24 reported. Infraco revealed to the parliamentary portfolio committee on postal and telecommunication services that it requires an urgent cash injection of ZAR 243 million. It wants another ZAR 932 million in funding until 2019.
