Broadcom WICED Wi-Fi powers Netatmo smart thermostat

Consumer electronics developer, Netatmo has selected Broadcom's Wireless Internet Connectivity for Embedded Devices (WICED) Wi-Fi technology to enable its smartphone-controlled thermostat by French designer Philippe Starck. Broadcom's WICED Wi-Fi and WICED Smart systems provide original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) with a complete simplified implementation of wireless connectivity that results in faster time-to-market for Internet of Things (IoT) offerings.
