Broadnet acquires regional broadband firm Dataguard

Norwegian company Broadnet is acquiring broadband provider Dataguard, Inside Telecom reported. Dataguard has approximately with 4,000 corporate and 1,500 retail customers in Hordaland county and Bergen. Broadnet would not reveal how much it was paying for the company. Dataguard has seventeen employees, all of whom will move to Broadnet. The aim is to boost Broadnet's position on the market for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
