Broadnet hopes for an agreement at the national Broadband Forum this year on long-term economic conditions for wholesale access to Telenor Norway's fixed network, Broadnet technology director Per Morten Torvildsen has told Telecom Revy. The government has set a deadline for agreement of the end of the first quarter of 2017. One possibility is that alternative providers could lay fibre lines on behalf of Telenor and then hand them over to the national operator.
