Brocade enhances Ethernet fabric portfolio

Networking equipment provider Brocade has enhanced the Ethernet fabric portfolio that utilises Brocade VCS technology. These enhancements are designed to improve virtual machine (VM) awareness, to manage and reduce operational overhead. The additions and enhancements include VCS technology extensions that automate VM discovery, configuration and mobility within Brocade Ethernet fabrics and increases in Ethernet fabric by doubling the number of switches within a VCS fabric, allowing customers to scale out their data centre networks.
