Brocade expands SDN suite with Brocade Vyatta Controller

Monday 22 September 2014 | 20:40 CET | News
Brocade has introduced the Brocade Vyatta Controller as a core product in its software-defined networking (SDN) portfolio and the next step toward delivering its open networking platform strategy. Commercially supported by Brocade, this SDN controller is built continuously from the OpenDaylight Project, a community-led open source initiative aimed at accelerating the adoption of SDN and network functions virtualisation (NFV). The Brocade Vyatta Controllers is planned for availability in November and will be based on the Helium release from the OpenDaylight Project.
