Brussels open to LTE, within its radiation norms

The Brussels minister for the environment Evelyne Huytebroeck said a "balanced" technical solution will surely be found the GSM issues in the city, L'Echo reported. The minister was responding to statements by a number of mobile operators, including Mobistar and Base. The operators said that radiation standards in Brussels are preventing the deployment of LTE services. Solutions will be found, the minister said, especially if urban permits for new antennas are submitted on time.
