BSG publishes report on UK switchover to IP-based voice network

The Broadband Stakeholder Group (BSG) has published a new report on preparing the UK for the switchover to an all-IP internet-based network for voice services, from the current PSTN, in the mid-2020s. The report examines case studies from France, Germany, New Zealand and Switzerland to understand how the UK can manage the switchover effectively and to ensure that emergency and security services, as well as vulnerable people, are protected.
