BSkyB invests USD 7 mln in Whistle Sports

UK pay TV operator BSkyB has invested USD 7 million in US sport-focused cross-platform YouTube network Whistle Sports, which partners with online personalities who create video content for young audiences. Sky said it would work with Whistle Sports on creating new content, building on its ongoing programme of investing in start-ups to bring new ideas, insights and services into its business.
